Ava's Skating Progress

Ava has been working hard on a number of different elements this summer. The camel spin continues to be a bit tricky for her. She is now learning front to back scratch and combination spins and jumps. After these next two competitions she has coming up (this weekend and early August) she will start learning the axel on ice. She is jumping it in her off ice class, its just a matter of actually doing it on the ice. Yikes!

In other quick news, the boys moved into their own rooms awhile back. I will post pictures once both rooms are finally all ready. Colton went with a Captain America theme and Evan chose Spiderman. They are doing really well sleeping in separate rooms, and they love that they have their own space.

We are really looking forward to having Grandpa Gary and Grandma Laurie over this weekend for his birthday. The kids can't wait to have cake and sing Happy Birthday to him!

That's all for now!

Yay for everyone! Count your blessings how close your rink is. It has taken such a toll on us all the way around this summer, driving over 60 miles just to skate. So happy Ava has this wonderful opportunity to continue her skating.
