...and books! Lately these have been Ava's two favorite things. My neighbor gave Ava a Big Bird doll that says "peekaboo" when the lights go on and off, laughs when you squeeze it's stomach, says the "this little piggy" rhyme when you squeeze its toes, and "patty cake" when you clap its hands together. No problem right? Except the last two nights, Ava insists on having it around for bathtime and will NOT go to sleep without cuddling with it. I am so afraid she will roll on it and it will laugh out LOUD or say peekaboo when the light comes in from her window in the morning. I have thought about taking it from her before I go to bed, but she has her arm around it so tight and looks so darn cute I just let her be and hope it doesn't wake her up. Here are some pictures of her going about her day with "Bibood" in her arms at all times.
She has also recently developed a love for reading. She will bring me a book and come sit in my lap wanting me to read to her. She also likes to point to all the pictures and name most everything. Her newest word is elephant or "efent" as she calls it. She has also recently learned to count to three. "One, two, tweee!"
For those of you who care, sorry it's taken so long for me to post new pictures. October has been crazy busy with parties and tons of other things going on. I will try to post again soon!

Love the pics of her hugging Big Bird. What a nice neighbor Ava has. And yay for books! And of course we care, keep posting those pictures. We miss Ava over here and can't wait to see her again.

What a gorgeous doll baby. Don't you love her little tongue slightly sticking out when she is concentrating? I am looking forward to spending time reading to her. Thanks for putting new pictures up Maria.
She looks so sweet giving Big Bird some cuddles! Glad she's enjoying her books! She's a smart little girl!
Shana, the cow is a plastic pop-up storage bin. There is also a green frog next to it. Alecia was going to sell those at our garage sale and gave them to me. They are filled to the top with Ava's toys!
Grandma, the tongue slightly out is one of my favorite things about my Avee's. She just looks so focused and adorable!
OH, I thought maybe it was one of those cool tunnels or something. That is neat that they hold Ava's toys in them.
